Özlem Uğurlu
Editor in Chief
Özlem Uğurlu received her Ph.D. in mathematics in 2018. Her research interests lie in combinatorics, algebraic geometry, and representation theory. Before joining the Math department at Saint Louis University, she was at Palm Beach State College, Florida. She enjoys spending her spare time with her hyper dog Mia, cooking – especially trying new recipes.
Michael Landry
Deputy Editor
Michael Landry is a low-dimensional topologist whose research intersects with hyperbolic geometry and dynamical systems. After earning a PhD from Yale University in 2019, he moved to St. Louis to take a postdoctoral position at WashU before joining the SLU faculty in 2023. Michae enjoys reading, writing, drawing, playing music, cycling, and running.

Nathaniel Alloway
Student Editor
Nathaniel Balmoja Alloway is a master’s student at Saint Louis University. Nathaniel was born in Portland, Oregon, and attended Jesuit High School there before arriving in Saint Louis for undergraduate studies. Currently, Nathaniel is vice president of the Mathematics and Statistics Club and secretary of the Association for Women in Mathematics chapter at Saint Louis University. His interests outside of mathematics include linguistics, board games, and piano.

Maya Golebiowski is an Honors Neuroscience Pre-Medicine student minoring in Health Care Ethics at Saint Louis University. She has a strong passion for mathematics and its applications in science and medicine. Maya is involved in sorority life, Billiken Buddies, and is a volunteer at SSM Health. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Maya enjoys playing ice hockey and exploring new activities.
Taylor Pike

Taylor Pike is an Honors Chemistry student on the Pre-Medicine track minoring in Spanish at Saint Louis University. She has a deep appreciation for mathematics and its diverse applications. Taylor is involved in The Brightroots Project, STEM Wellness, and American Women’s Medical Association on SLU’s campus. She enjoys running, reading, and riding her horse during her free time.
